À propos de Melon Rouge Agency
Melon Rouge Agency (MRA) has been contracted in March 2020 to design the overall visitor experience of the National Museum for Renewable Energy in Kampot (Cambodia). Commissioned by the national electricity operator Electricite du Cambodge (EDC), the Museum is slated to open in 2023.
The visitor experience developed by MRA is based on a simple proposition: “Energy at your Fingertips”. This concept guides the entire scenography, which revolves around a number of interactive experiences where visitors are encouraged to put their body on the line and actively interact with the content.
While visitors elucidate complex notions such as the photovoltaic effect or the principles of alternative electric current through fun and active engagement, the museum provides moments of wonder that create a lasting impact. This in turn help to (re)define the experience that a museum can offer in a local context where perceptions and attitudes to content are shaped by the interactivity of new media.
